Principal, Business Development Director

Katie is a Principal and the Business Development Director at Lorax Partnerships. Katie joined Lorax in 2013 and leads Lorax’s relationship-building, marketing, and business development efforts through client engagement, opportunity management, and achievement promotion.  Katie continues to advocate for a healthy and sustainable future by managing real estate development projects across a number of rating systems and standards including LEED BD+C, LEED ID+C, LEED ND, LEED O+M, WELL, Fitwel, and Living Building Challenge. Katie’s project work includes one of the largest projects in Baltimore City, the Baltimore Horseshoe Casino; the first LEED for Neighborhood Development Certified community in the state of Maryland, Merriweather Area 3; and the first WELL Silver office building in downtown Washington, DC, 1901 L Street. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Science of Natural and Environmental Systems from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Katie is active in the region’s real estate industry groups including ULI Baltimore, CREW Baltimore, NAIOP Maryland, SMPS Maryland, The Associated’s Real Estate Industry Group, and is the current Chair of the USGBC Maryland Community’s Market Leadership Advisory Board.
