The Chesterfield Owner: Wexford Science + Technology Wexford Science + Technology has continued their tradition of renovating historic buildings into state of the art technology centers in North Carolina. Located in Durham, in a partnership with Duke University, The Chesterfield is a renovation of an abandoned tobacco factory into a collaboration space in the middle of downtown Durham featuring office, lab, technology and retail space. The 320,000 square foot building maintained the historic façade, while improving energy efficiency and creating a comfortable and innovative environment for building users. The Chesterfield achieved LEED Gold certification in April 2017, with a total of 72 points earned.
